California’s Manufacturing Network (CMN), formed and led by CMTC, provides services exclusively to Small and Medium-Sized Manufacturers (SMMs) throughout California. The Water, Energy and Technology (WET) Center is proudly working with CMTC in providing meaningful help to over 7,000 California manufacturers to survive, recover, and thrive as they emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
This Outreach Program is funded by the CARES Act Stimulus Package 2020 – and is managed by CMTC – California’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Center.

Fresno State and the Water, Energy and Technology (WET) Center are complying with the COVID-19 recommendations issued by the California State University Office of the Chancellor, the City of Fresno, and the State of California.
The WET Center facilities will be closed until further notice. The health and safety of our clients, staff and families is our first priority. Covid-19 Update- It has been coming on for a few weeks but is now confirmed that Fresno County, and 40 other California counties, are in Tier 1 – the most restrictive (purple) tier. Under Tier 1, restaurants are not allowed to offer indoor dining; instead, they are limited to outdoor seating or delivery/take-out service. Churches are prohibited from holding indoor worship services, and fitness clubs and gyms are only allowed to continue outdoor operations. As we have done for eight months now, we need to be smart and take precautions to be safe.

California Wildfires – Anyone who is experiencing impacts from the wildfires (such as evacuation, power or internet disruptions) should fill out the Wildfire Impact Form at the Fresno State Alert website.

Governor Newsom and the Legislature announced that the State would build on its ongoing support for businesses impacted by COVID-19 by providing a new package of assistance for small businesses, including tax relief, a recovery loan program, and $500 million in grants for small businesses impacted by COVID and health and safety restrictions. WET Center Webinar Series
Our goal has (and will always be!) to be more a part of the online world and provide innovative resources to our diverse network of professionals, ventures, and entrepreneurs than ever before!
To counter the ever-changing news surrounding COVID-19 and help alleviate the impacts made by quarantine life, we are excited to announce that we will be kick-starting our WET Center Webinar Series. Our series will be a monthly series and will include tips and tricks on how to best work with things like websites, best social media practices, advertising, sales, how to make the best impression from behind a screen, and more.
Each webinar will take place on Friday’s at 10:00 AM.
